Administration officer

We're a virtual reception company, providing full-service administration and reception services for a range of Allied Health businesses, from podiatrists and physiotherapists to psychologists Australia-wide. We're excited to announce we're looking for an awesome, enthusiastic administration officer to join our team. 

This role will be focused on full-service administration and customer service. 

To give you an idea of what your day might look like, here's what you need to be proficient in: 
  • Answering calls for more than 30 businesses
  • Booking and changing appointments
  • Explaining costs and billing to patients
  • Providing information about procedures to patients
  • Managing patient invoicing and receipts
  • Managing Medicare rebates
  • Great computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Excel), 
  • Able to take initiative and problem solve
  • Able to multi-task and have a high level of attention to detail
  • Preferred: Experience dealing with patients in distress
  • Preferred: Bookkeeping/accounts clerk experience
  • Preferred: Experience with HiCaps, Medicare and NDIS
  • ​Preferred: Familiarity with any of the following practice management systems:
    • ​Cliniko
    • HealthKit
    • PowerDiary
    • CorePlus
    • MindBody

Some of our clients' patients can be high-risk and may be suffering from anxiety or depression, so our new team member would need to be able to handle high-stress phone calls. They don't happen very often, but when they do, we need to be equipped and prepared to handle them. We do provide training on this, so please don't let this scare you off! :) 

This position requires someone with a lot of initiative, able to manage their own workload, who can be actively looking for their next task in a fast-paced, complicated environment, able to prioritise and deal with a lot of input at once. 

Having said that, we're a lot of fun and we're proud of our really relaxed atmosphere. 

This position is a casual one, with varying hours, but up to 2 days a week. You'll be working from a home office in Lawnton, Brisbane.
